Introduction
Delivery Operator Technologies LLC ("Company", "we", or "us"), doing business as TAM Tool, provides a market-data platform that compiles US economic and market-sizing data from public federal sources for total addressable market (TAM) analysis. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This policy describes:
- the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit, register with, access, or use our website, web application, application programming interface (API), and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server (together, the "TAM Tool Services" or "Services"); and
- our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies only to information we collect in the Services and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with the Services. It does not apply to information that we collect offline, or that you provide to or that is collected by any third party, including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from the Services (see Third-party information collection). These third parties may have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
The Services are intended for users located in the United States, and we store and process information in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and consent to your information being processed in the United States.
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Services. By accessing, registering with, or using any of the Services, you agree to this privacy policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to our privacy policy). Your continued use of the Services after we revise this policy means you accept those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.
Children under the age of 16
None of the Services is intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any information to or on the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on or through the Services, register on the Services, make any purchases through the Services, or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, email address, or any username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at dave@deliveryoperator.com.
Information we collect about you and how we collect it
We collect information from and about users of the Services:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us.
- Automatically when you use and navigate through the Services.
- From third-party services we use to operate the Services (for example, our identity and payment providers).
Information you provide to us
When you register with or use the Services, we may ask you to provide information:
- By which you may be personally identified, such as your name and email address ("personal information").
- That is about you but does not individually identify you, such as your browser type, the type of device, usage details, and IP address.
This information includes:
- Information that you provide by registering to use the Services, subscribing, or requesting support.
- Records and copies of your correspondence (including your email address) if you contact us.
- Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
- Details of subscription transactions you carry out through the Services. Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); we store a customer and subscription identifier and your plan status, but we do not store your full payment card number or security code.
- Your search queries and the requests you make through the app, API, and MCP server.
Account passwords are managed through our identity provider (Amazon Cognito) and stored in hashed form; we do not see or store your password in plain text.
Automatic information collection and tracking
When you access and use the Services, we may use technology to automatically collect:
- Usage details. Details of your access to and use of the Services, including traffic data, coarse location data (such as the country or region of access), logs, configuration, the time and date of usage, query and request counts used to enforce subscription and rate limits, and the resources you access through the Services.
- Device information. Information about the device and connection you use, including IP address, operating system, and browser type and version.
We may also use these technologies to collect information about your activities within the Services over time. We do not currently use this information to serve interest-based (behavioral) advertising. If you do not want us to collect this information, do not access or use the Services.
Information collection and tracking technologies
The technologies we use for automatic information collection may include:
- Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select that setting, you may be unable to access certain parts of the Services. We use strictly necessary technologies to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies (see below) to measure usage.
- Web beacons. Pages of the Services and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related service statistics.
Third-party information collection
Some functions of the Services rely on third parties. When you use the Services, certain third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties may include:
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider (Amazon Web Services).
- Our identity provider (Amazon Cognito).
- Our payment processor (Stripe).
- Our analytics provider (Google Analytics).
We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or collected across different websites and online services. If you have questions about a third party's practices, you should contact the responsible provider directly.
How we use your information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, to:
- Provide you with the Services and their contents, and any other information, products, or services that you request from us.
- Process your subscription, trial, and payments, and enforce usage and rate limits.
- Give you notices about your account or subscription, including expiration and renewal notices, and send service-related messages such as password resets.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- Notify you when updates to the Services are available, and of changes to any products or services we offer or provide.
- Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it, in any other way we may describe when you provide the information, or for any other purpose with your consent.
The usage information we collect helps us to improve the Services and to deliver a better experience by enabling us to:
- Estimate our audience size and usage patterns.
- Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Services according to your interests.
- Recognize you when you use the Services.
We may also use your information to contact you about our own products, services, and offers that may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to use your information in this way, you can opt out (see Your choices below).
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:
- To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business (such as our hosting, identity, payment, and analytics providers), who are bound to keep it confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of the Company's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by the Company is among the assets transferred.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent.
- To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, or others, including for fraud protection and risk reduction.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices about our collection, use, and disclosure of your information
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. This section describes mechanisms we provide for you to control certain uses and disclosures of your information.
- Tracking technologies. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the Services may be inaccessible or not function properly; however, blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to sign in or use the app.
- Promotion by the Company. If you do not want us to use your email address to promote our own products or services, you can opt out by adjusting the preferences in your account or by emailing your request to dave@deliveryoperator.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may also reply asking to be omitted from future distributions. This opt-out does not apply to service-related messages or information provided as a result of a subscription or other transaction.
Accessing and updating your information
You can review and change your account information, including your email address, by logging into the Services and visiting your account page, and you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing; to exercise any of these, email us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
Data security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure, including encryption in transit, managed authentication, and scoped access controls.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where you have chosen a password for access to the Services, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through the Services. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk.
Changes to our privacy policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we will post the new privacy policy on this page with a notice that the policy has been updated and, where appropriate, notify you at the email address associated with your account. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date, active, and deliverable email address for you and for periodically visiting this policy to check for any changes.
